ABOUT US
Mission Statement
To help strengthen Cultural Associations by providing Quality of Life
Insurance Plans and Benefits to serve Cultural Communities.
Our History
Cultural Group Benefits Company was founded in January, 2000, by Sam Ndely, originally of Cameroon, and Bob Chirpich of St. Paul, Minnesota. Together, they have over 50 years of serving the insurance needs of their clients. Creating an organization dedicated to the insurance needs of cultural associations grew out of their awareness of the traditions of support and caring that are an integral part of cultural associations.
The Cultural Insurance Plan helps communities to provide sufficient resources
for the benefit of a member at his or her passing. No longer do cultural communities need to depend solely on contributions to honor the life of their beloved brothers and sisters. Members join their cultural associations for a variety of reasons, and most groups have several goals. This plan gives members one more solid reason for joining or continuing membership.
In 2006, travel health insurance coverage became available for friends and family members visiting in the United States. Anyone with a passport coming to the United States can apply
for short term protection offered on this website
through Health Plan Administrators, underwritten by
United States Fire Insurance Company. Various
benefit levels of insurance protection are available in
the event of accidents or sickness during their stay. Additional insurance products that serve the cultural community will be announced in the coming months.
The Cultural Insurance Plan now covers over 200 groups in
25 different states and is growing rapidly. The insurance products offered are helping communities become more unified and stronger, as the support and benefits they are able to offer their members continue to expand through the Cultural Insurance Plan. |
